As you may know my mother was diagnosed with liver disease a few years ago and was on the transplant list for some time but because she isn't hospitalized she was not a priority. She has been suffering from multiple symptoms which require lots of daily medications and doctor appointments. Currently she is in a medical trial to help with one of those debilitating symptoms, which has improved her quality of life a bit, and her liver has recovered enough to be taken off the transplant list. However she will always suffer from liver disease and is on several medications to manage the symptoms.
I have signed up to participate in the Canadian Liver Foundation's STROLL for LIVER: Virtual Challenge! I will be helping the CLF to raise money for important liver health research and education programs in our community. I hope you will consider supporting my participation in this event.
